Pattern: Exterior Wind-Cold-Dampness with Qi Deficiency

Indications: High fever and severe chills with shivering, no sweating, pain and stiffness of the head and neck, soreness and pain of the extremities, focal distention and fullness of the chest, nasal congestion with sonorous breathing, a productive cough, a greasy, white tongue coating, and a floating, soggy pulse.

Cautions and contraindications: Because of the Warm, drying properties of many of the ingredients, it is important to remember that this formula is indicated only for externally-contracted Wind-Cold-dampness, and is contraindicated for cases with heat.
