Ba Yue Zha - Akebia Fruit (Fructus Akebiae)

Properties: Bitter, neutral. Channels: Liver, Stomach.

Action and indication: regulates the qi, disperses clumps. For hypochondriac pain or the pain

from bulging disorders, most commonly associated with Liver/Stomach disharmony.

Used in the treatment of scrofula and other nodular disorders. 

Recently this part of the herb has been used in the treatment of breast and digestive tract tumors.

Contraindicated: Caution during pregnancy.

Dose: 6-12 g
