sligthly Cold,  sligthly Bitter, Sweet. Channels: Lung, Heart

Action and indication: Moistens Lung, stop cough due to Lung heat or dryness. (Bai He Gu Jin Tang)

Clears Heart, calms mind: insomnia, low fever, restlessness post febrile, or palpitations due to deficiency Qi and Yin.

Contraindicated: cough due to Wind-Cold or phlegm, deficiency Cold diarrhea.
