Properties: Cold, Sweet. Channels: Lung, Stomach, Small Intestine, Urinary Bladder

Action and indication: Cools blood, stops bleeding: bloody nose, urine, vomit, cough. (Shi Hui San)     

Hot dysuria, edema, damp-heat jaundice.

Contraindicated: Spleen and Stomach deficiency Cold.

Dose: 15-30 g;   30-60 g, if fresh herb
