Ce Bai Ye - Oriental arborvitae leafy twig, arborvitae, Chinese arborvitae biota (Platycladi Cacumen)

Properties: Bitter, Astringent, slightly Cold. Channels: Lung, Liver, Large Intestine

Action and indication: Blood heat: cough with bloody phlegm, vomiting blood, epistaxis, hematuria, uterine bleeding. (Shi Hui San, Huai Hua San, Si Sheng Wan, Bai Ye Tang)       

Topical: early stage burns.        

Wind-damp Bi.

Contraindicated: long-term use.

6-15 g    Char: bleeding.   Raw: cough.   Ointment, wash or fresh: burns.
