Properties: Cold, Salty, Acrid. Channels: Kidney, Liver

Action and indication: Anchors and calms: restlessness, insomnia, palpitations, tremors, children's seizures due to fright. (Ci Zhu Wan)  

Improves hearing and vision. (Er Long Zuo Ci Wan)

Kidney not grasping Qi.

Caution: weak Spleen and Stomach. Antagonizes Mu dan pi. 

Decoct 20-30 min before adding other herbs.

Dose: 9-30 g
