Hai Tong Pi - Erythrina bark (Cortex Erythrinae)

Properties: Neutral, Bitter, Acrid. Channels: Liver, Spleen, Kidney

Action and indication: Wind-damp Bi with heat or Cold, especially lower extremities. 

Superficial edema due to damp.

Gargle for toothache.

Contraindicated in deficiency Yin or blood

Dose: 6-15 g
