Tong Cao - Ricepaper pith (Medulla Tetrapanacis)

Properties: sligthly Cold, Sweet, Bland. Channels: Lung, Stomach

Action and indication: Urinary Bladder damp-heat: dysuria, edema.  (San Ren Tang)

Promotes lactation.

Caution in pregnancy, Qi or Yin deficiency. 

Often used as substitute for Akebia Mu Tong.

Dose: 3-6 g
