This formula is an associated of Major Pinelliae Decoction (da ban xia tang) and is indicated for vomiting occurs quite quickly after the intake of food or drink. In  Major Pinelliae Decoction (da ban xia tang) patterns, on the other hands, vomiting occurs a considerable time after eating.
