Yuan Hua - Genkwa flower (Flos Genkwa)

Properties: Warm, Acrid, Bitter, toxic. Channels: Kidney, Large Intestine, Lung

Action and indication: Drives out water: fluid retention in chest and abdomen. (Shi Zao Tang)    

Topical: kill ringworm.

Contraindicated during pregnancy and in weak patients.

Dose: 1.5-3 g
