Zhe Bei Mu - Fritillary bulb (Bulbus Fritillariae thunbergii)

Properties: Cold, Bitter. Channels: Heart, Lung

Action and indication: Similar to Chuan bei mu, but used more for swellings due to phlegm-fire, less for phlegm-heat cough.  (Hai Zao Yu Hu Tang)

Not useful for Yin deficiency. Ineffective for Cold phlegm-damp cough.

Cheaper than Chuan bei mu.

Dose: 3-9 g
