Properties: Cool, Acrid, Bitter. Channels: Spleen, Stomach

Action and indication: Similar to Zhishi but milder, better for weaker patients.

Diarrhea with tenesmus.

Phlegm stagnation in chest, abdominal fullness, etc.           

Prolapse: gastric, rectal, uterine. (Huai Hua San)

Caution: pregnancy, Spleen and Stomach deficiency

Dose: 3-9 g
